Taxis, Lyft, Uber, etc. Unless it's the carpool option, it's the same price.
The fare quoted on sites like RideGuru are for the entire party that is traveling together. So, as long as everyone in the group can fit in the vehicle you requested, you pay the same price. Make sure to check the size of the vehicle you are requesting. For example, UberX can carry up to 4 passengers and UberXL can carry up to 6 passengers. (not counting the driver)
The only exception is carpooling options like UberPool and Lyft Line, where each person may need to pay. (note: you can bring one friend currently. see below)
For taxis, depending on the city you are in, you may be charged small fees for extra passengers.
