NEW TO RIDE SHARING QUESTION

I downloaded UBER app and had technical problems with method of payment.  Contacted customer service and have now, 24 hours later had no resolution.  So I downloaded the Lyft app.  So far, so good.

I did contact Lyft customer service and they responded fairly quickly.  I just need clarification regarding my question:

I am trying to get as close as possible to what the actual fare with LYFT will be for a ride from HPN (Westchester Airport) on a FUTURE DATE & TIME.  I don't understand the SURGE pricing system.  How do I figure out if there is this SURGE price situation for this particular trip?  From what I can see, you can't pre-schedule an airport ride, correct?

Any help in this matter is appreciated.

Not surprised by your Uber trouble - sorry though!

Correct, I also believe you cannot pre-schedule an airport Lyft ride. And, unfortunately, there is no real way to know if you will hit surge pricing as it is based on supply and demand. What time are you looking to take the Lyft? If you are traveling during a peak travel time (rush hour) then you can expect to pay more than your estimate. If you are traveling during off hours then your estimate should be spot on!

Thank you so much for your response.

I need to hire Lyft for a ride from the HPN airport this FRIDAY at approximately 10:30AM.  I can't determine if there will be this surge price situation with Lyft.  I do know that on the UBER app. it says they expect demand to be higher than usual.
