Every time I see one of these incidents, I look at it as Uber taking the headwind and the blunt of the angry industry. They are the disruptor and they accepted the challenge. I commend them for that, but then there's Lyft that hides right behind Uber Shield and gets away with everything.

Never thought I'd say this but I am starting to feel bad for Uber, especially seeing a copy-cat see so much success in not only copying the business model but also letting Uber blaze the tail and get pounded for it.
