Difference between Lyft and Lyft Line
Lyft is the traditional rideshare service, you request a car, a driver shows up and takes you to your destination, you pay and exit the vehicle.
Lyft Line, is similar except you are sharing your ride with strangers who are also heading the same way as you. While it will take longer to get to your destination as you will have to make multiple stops to pick and drop off other passengers your ride will be cheaper as you will be splitting the cost with the other passengers.
