I just asked how you can obtain a monthly earnings summary and someone responded regarding a 1099. It is too early to get a 1099 and I need prooof of income for the expanded unemployment program for self employed and independent contactors for the Corona Virus expanded unemployment program. Please do not suggest a 1099 since I have only done Uber and Lyft for about three months. Thank you.
Honestly I don't know. This is all new since independent contractors were not eligible for unemployment before now. Have you looked through the guidelines provided by your state? Assuming they have provided any yet...
HI Thank you very much. I finally found the docs for UBER for 2020 online and now I have to find the same for LYFT. I will be uploading those to the NYSept of Labor web site to file my husband's UE claim.
How do you get a monthly earnings summary that you can use for proof of income if it is too early to receive a 1099?
I think a 1099k if you do over 20k in passenger rides. 1099misc if you get over $600 in non passenger money. Otherwise, you will just get your tax year summary.
If you gross over 20k in the year and/or make 600 in rewards you will get a 1099.
