  They don't do sociopath checks the last time I checked.  No mental health checks, as far as I know. Sure they may check criminal and driving records, but those have nothing to do with how creepy they are or how much they are likely to kill in the future.

   6 years ago in  London Uber ignoring all rules and breaking laws again.

  Remind me of Starbucks.  So predatory.  They go nuts when entering a new market (with promotions and cheap coffee) in order to take out the competition.  Once the competitors are gone, they can do whatever they want.
