Yes. Routine for riders. Different process for drivers
Yes, Uber is available for riders from Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR). They have UberPool, UberX, UberBlack, XL, SUV, as of 12/2017. (https://ride.guru/content/resources/airports)
For passengers, you can find your Uber drivers on the Arrivals Level near Baggage Claime. Follow signs for Ground Transportation and "Passenger Pick-up."
For drivers, the process is slightly unique. To receive pickup requests at EWR, you enter the Rideshare Hold Lot. Once there, you will receive ride requests on a first-in, first-out (FIFO) basis. You will get a notification, but you will not immediately be matched with a passenger. (This is different than normal.) You start driving and only then, you will get a confirmation for a rider as you approach the terminal. For drop-offs, it's the same as regular passengers.
