Wow, that is impressive. I don't think I have ever seen anyone else achieve this. Did you get nervous as you neared closer to 500 that someone would 4 star you?? haha
Seeing how drivers are contracted and not employees I don't think they can mandate physicals!!
I think it depends on where you are located but in general, yes, do it!
Interesting question, I have never even heard of OJO? Where are you based?
Yep, I think below 59th, tons of riders/surge but im not getting requested...
Toyota Camry is a pretty decent option or if you are trying to do XL I would go with the Honda Odyssey
Ha, after the passenger I just had I may need to start doing this.
I would be angry too, I know those kind of people and they never tip. They have this "my life is the worst" mentality and think they are entitled to not tip or pull their weight. sorry this happened to you, sounds crappy.
OMG this is a great idea. "There should be a law that states they have to show the changes First, then proceed with the rest of it. "
So sad, an end of an era.
Are you a newer driver? When did you start driving?
The link doesn't work, can you post again?
Uber is already struggling to find enough drivers, there is no way they can sustain themselves if they force drivers to buy their own commercial policy.
Doesn't surprise me, Uber ruins everything it touches.
I dont think so
Where are you located? While I agree that Uber sucks, sometimes I think which app is best depends on your location.
This is so ageist.... you can't just deny someone because of their age! If they have a valid license, then they are good to go. SMH
hm, I don't know of any other companies in that area unless you want to try to work for a limo/black car company but most likely you will need further requirements or certifications. You could always get into delivery?
I believe you cannot currently use Uber or Lyft's sharing services (pool or line) due to the pandemic. When a vehicle says "4 passengers" that is the amount of people the vehicle can accommodate (though again keep in mind that with the pandemic most drivers will take 3 passengers max to avoid having anyone in their front seat). Uber will not match you up with other passengers but if you find other riders needing a ride at the same time you can surely take a car together and split the cost at the end.
Try using the fare calculator on this site to calculate the fare.
Oh no, I am so sorry to hear this. Uber is literally the worst when it comes to these types of situations and so many drivers get booted off the app for ridiculous, unfair reasons, mainly due to a lack of communication. Have you tried tweeting at them over and over and over? Maybe it is time to switch to Lyft...
