Does anyone here have any experience with Uber Freight?

I feel like trucking and fright delivery are one thing people should plan, instead of relying on an on-demand mobile-enables apps. Am I wrong?

No one packs his entire house and then says, “okay, now that all boxes are packed and placed on the lawn, let me see what fright drivers are available in my neighborhood.”

...or “Now that I built all these dish washers, I am ready to find a stranger to come get them and drive them across the country.”

What’s so wrong with having FedEx or UPS come get my big box. It’s not like they aren’t available at all hours.

Those companies make a living on efficiency. I have a hard time believing someone can beat that through volunteer drivers.

Yes, sure Amazon is challenging them, but it all comes at a cost of drivers being underpaid and eventually blow up.

    Why would I? I don’t drive a freight truck.
