Contrary to common belief, yes Uber does require that UberBlack be the color black. In fact, they need to be "black on black," with exterior and interior both being black.
- UberBLACK is for those wishing a luxury sedan experience. These are black on black premium cars and require professional drivers. They also require mid-size or full-size cars.

Oh...my...gosh... I never knew this. I just assumed uber black had to be a nice luxury car. Sure, i've only seen black ones, but I thought that's because limo drivers just all drive the black ones.
