Uber/Lyft is occasionally ok to ride. But sometimes their price is way more than the private car services.
If you want the most safer and reliable option, it is private car service. I have tried many of them currently I am using Orlando Best Limo. They are very friendly and helping a lot and also on-time! I highly recommend them.
Uber is the most popular in Orlando.
With that said, there are lots of mom & pops taxi companies in Orlando. If you want personalized service and some consistencies in your driver and whom you work with, you might as well call one of those local companies and build a relationship.
Not for nothing Uber and the city of Orlando has had some rocky relationships in the past. The city arrested some drivers, fined them, and forced some fees. Not sure if they ever figured that out.
