If I got a quottion from Lyft line - shared ride - 2 people, and we are a party of 2, does it means that the total fare is the quoted x 2 or is it the total amount ?

This is why sharing a single cab is important. On a subway you pay by person. On an Uber, you get four people and you pay quarter of the price. Always do the math when out with a group.
