Well, Lyft is loving this publicity. GOP is in an embarrassing turmoil and are not friendly with the groups that matter, such as the urban population that actually need and take rideshares and technology heavy industries and their population.
Uber does not care to have the backing from middle of America, gun toting, truck drivers who really don't care to take Ubers around. This helps Uber none, and Lyft has an excuse to rise up and be the anti-Trump hero.
Not surprised at all. Lyft has always been about the cool chill hippie attitude. They always tried to appear as the liberal easy-going little brother of evil Uber. It's everything GOP stands against. hahaha.
