How early are Uber drivers available?

Uber is a 24/7 service. Available all hours, even early mornings.

The availability of the drivers and how long the wait is will heavily depend on your location and when you are traveling.  Uber drivers are independent contrators and can choose their own hours, so the availability can signicantly different from one market to another.

With that said, in areas where Uber provides its service, especially in cities, drivers are available all hours even in the early morning hours, whether it's 4 or 5AM.  There are often people traveling to airports and train stations, and some drivers prefer these times where there are longer drives and without traffic to slow them down.

If you want to double check, a technique you can use is to open the Uber app and see for yourself a week or two in advance on the same weekday and during the same time.  This way, you can gauge if there will be drivers available in your area for your upcoming trip.
