With NY passing tougher regulations on U/L and CA AB5 looking, the rideshare industry finally may be turning the corner benefiting the driver. Barriers to entry are very low but most drivers lose money after factoring in all the expenses. Most studies suggest drivers making well below minimum wage around the country.
What would be a fair dollar number per app on hour? $30 gross like NY and city of El Monte (east of Los Angeles) suggest?
