Supply & Demand is always so hard to judge...
With on-demand car services like Uber, it's often a mystery whether there will be a driver on special days. While there may not be as many passengers around, there may not be drivers either.
In a case like this, I would try scheduling a ride. Now, Uber and Lyft offer scheduling services in certain markets now, but this is not necessarily a guarantee as it still reies on the driver availability. So, in one word, they are "unproven."
So in that scenario, maybe you want to try hiring a traditional car service like a limo? There is a similar Guru Answer here.
