Obviously the fares will be raised considerably including out of town fares although it is just a turning point for the drivers. The greed of NYC government has caused the deaths of Medallion and FHV drivers by flooding the streets with app drivers falling on top of each other waiting to catch a dog bone. They are not heros nor do they deserve a pat on the back because what will the drivers do when ridership decreases because of this raise ?? They should have started to revoke TLC leasing companies plates and remove Green Cabs off the streets . What is your opinion ??
How will the new wage hikes in NYC really effect drivers since there is a over abundance of cars ?
