With which rideshare company do you have an account set up with? Uber, Lyft?
If you are referring to your RideGuru account, this is solely an account to participate in our community through our RideGuru Lounge. In order to hail a ride with a rideshare company you will need to download the desired rideshare app (uber, lyft) from the app store on your smartphone and sign up!
To see which rideshare/taxi company is cheapest in your area, try out our RideGuru Caculator by inputting your starting and ending locations. RideGuru will then give you the estimated prices of all the rideshare and taxi companies in your area!
I believe Kathy must be referring to Uber and/or Lyft. In both apps, when you download, you must create an account right away, but the apps won't ask you for the credit card info. This needs to be done in the Account Settings.
