Calling a taxi directly
After entering your TO and FROM addresses in the Fare Comparison Calculator , you should get a results page that shows you all the services available as well as a link that will bring you directly to the company's app. For taxis, you should call your local taxi provider to make a reservation, since there is not one general taxi company that applies to all cities, like Uber and Lyft have.

So RideGuru supplies the taxi fare but not the taxi contact info? there are many taxi companies here - I am confused! How can RideGuru look up the fare but not contact information? What am I misunderstanding? Thank you in advance for your help!

Which city are you from (or travelling in)? RideGuru should be displaying local taxi phone numbers that you can choose from and call directly from your smartphone.
