Nah, I never put stock in these articles. Uber is just too big. Perhaps that can co-exist but I dont think Lyft will ever completely destroy Uber.
I mean Lyft and Uber basically sell the same product. The exact same product. Lyft is gaining market share but that can't go on forever.
There are no winners in a war to the bottom, everyone loses, especially the driver. Wall Street has a funny way of looking at these companies, they need their future business. I have been short Lyft since it was 78, will stay that way.
