Jumper Cable for Jumping Cars - Uber drivers do actually carry them.

Are you having trouble starting your car? Unfortunately, our team of Gurus here aren't equipped to come jump your car. However, I can answer whether one can call an Uber to jumpstart a car!
So, the Uber service isn't meant to come repair your car, so you may get better results by calling a local mechanic or a service like AAA. However, we have heard people to call Uber drivers, because they are readily available (often a few minutes away) and are often equipped with jumper cables, as they spent significant time driving. If you were going to do that, make sure to text or call them right away whether they are willing to do such work. (If not, you should immediately cancel, preferably within two minutes of being assigned a driver, so no one gets charged.)
Since the driver won't get paid for driving you, I would offer some money for the service rendered. I would bring this up upfront while contacting them, so they know what to expect and decide whether they want to come help.
