As of 11/28/2019 .. I learned that NY Suburb Drivers are no longer allowed to log into the Lyft Platform as I was advised I am not authorized there. This is new to me as I have always been able to Drop off and Pick up (Mainly when I go to Newark Airport) ... When did this new rule go into effect. I spoke with Driver support and was told that we are no longer able to work out of Region. I am based out of Westchester New York and was told if I wanted to pick up in Jersey I would have to request that I be switched to New Jersey and thus forth will no longer be able to pick up in New York. First Connecticut did this and now New Jersey? Why ?!
