okay suppose your pho is stolen now we know weuse the mobile browser and get uber but if you want try the mobile site for lyft they requie to verify you cellphone thougfh a text mssage even you dont have your phone cause it lost olr stolen

I am so sorry to hear your phone was lost!  Oh, man.  I hope you get it back soon.

You are correct that with Uber, you can book a ride through a web browser, assuming you have the proper credentials.   That feature is currently not available with Lyft at the time, so even if you could log in to Lyft's website, there won't be an option to book a ride!
