Ordering how do I get a ride for now
The Guru Take
Rideshares are "on demand". It means your requests, by default, are always for NOW!
Hi, Lynda,
Assuming I am understanding your question correctly, I would like to remind you that rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are considered as "on demand" transportation. You request a ride for that moment, and drivers that happen to be near you will accept and come pick you up. Hence, when it comes to ordering, it would always be a ride for now!
Of course, there is an exception. Some rideshare companines are starting to accept advanced bookings where you can schedule a ride for the future. :)
