Does didi operate in perth

Didi in Australia

I believe (as of June 25th) Didi only operates in Geelong and Melbourne. However, they do have plans to aggressively expand throughout Australia so I would not be surprised if they are in Perth soon! Ola (An Indian based rideshare company), is already currently in Perth and it seems like Didi is looking to directly compete with Ola through supporting the same locations.

I wrote to Didi ([email protected]) to clarify their expansion plans. I will update this post when I hear back!

    Didi wrote back to me with this:

    "As of the moment, DiDi is operating in Melbourne and in Geelong. However, we don't have an exact information as to when we are going to start operating in Sydney."

    So it looks like they are not in Perth but looking to expand to Sydney soon.
