I was searching for something completely different, ran into this page.
Uber Connect is an easy, same-day, no-contact delivery solution that allows people to send items whether it’s a care package for a loved one, a gift for a friend’s birthday, an item you sold online or an important business document.
Looks pretty awesome? Is this really a thing? The page completely useless as I can't proceed from there.

Well, that dream died with the covid pandemic.
This has been a service for quite a while now. I think in some locations it is called Uber Direct.
Uber Connect use to be the referral service for Uber, I think. Connecting people to people and businesses to people. I guess they rebranded it. M
They also call things differently in different countries. So maybe it’s that? I don’t see how you’d use this delivery service though.
It is supposed be in the same app?
This is Uber's end goal, right? They wanted to be more than a taxi company, so they were gonna take over the courier/delivery industry. Remember the Uber Airport thing with drones?
