This practice of assisting passengers, not only with walkers, but also with luggage, is fairly common among the drivers of Uber and Lyft. There are special Uber services, such as UberWav that specializes in such assistance, but drivers of standard services like UberX and UberBlack would most likely be willing to help.
You should keep in mind that this does depend on the driver. They are not required to help you, and this is per discretion of each driver.
