I think they have probably had about the same amount of cases, I mean really they provide the same service.
I think it depends on the taxi company. Some taxi companies have enforced really strict rules and installed plexi glass in all there vehicles. In these instances, I would say taxi companies are safer as Uber drivers can be hit or miss with their safety level.
