Starting this week, Lyft has announced their new On-Time Pickup Promise in an effort to make holiday travel just a little less stressful. With Lyft’s On-Time Pickup Promise, scheduled rides to the airport will be covered and ensured to arrive on time in most major markets.
“Every minute counts when you’re on the way to the airport,” said David Risher, Lyft CEO. “We’re so confident that we can get you there on time that if we’re more than ten minutes late for your scheduled pick-up, we’ll give you up to $100 in Lyft credits to make up for it”

Lyft’s on-time pick up promise is the latest improvement to Lyft’s scheduled ride features, which allows users to book rides up to 30 days in advance, lock in a price, and set a preferred pick-up time.
Lastly, Lyft has also just announced “Extra Comfort mode”, which according to Lyft, is “an affordable everyday upgrade to your rideshare experience. If you’re looking to kick back and relax on the way to the airport or come home from a holiday party, Extra Comfort offers roomier cars, top-rated drivers, and the ability to request a quiet ride or help with luggage. Extra Comfort is available to most riders starting today.”
