  I used to choose Uber over taxis because generally the cars were nicer. However, after my last few Uber rides in some seriously ghetto-mobiles, I may have to re-assess my judgements of taxis. Seems they will just let any box with wheels on Uber these days.

   3 years ago in  My 16 year old daughter has to go to the airport for a family emergency. Can I send her in an Uber?

  You really shouldn't, there is a good chance the driver will refuse to take her because she is under 18. And even if the driver does take her, do you want to chance your daughter riding in a car with a stranger (and most likely a male stranger). Do you have any friends or neighbors who could take her?

  Pretty much just another way for Uber to scam more money out of riders. They don't explain it very well on their site but it seems like they are reserving the right to charge surcharges now for rides to or from major events 😒

   4 years ago in  I have been recently deactivated by Uber permanently. Uber refuses to give me an exact explanation. Uber advises that it was for a zero tolerance violation. I was deactivated over a year ago. Uber completed their investigation and it was determined the rider lied. Could have made a second mistake? My customer service rating is 4.88. Do I have any legal recourse since Uber refuse an exact explanation? Please Advise
