Relevant thread. Are you wondering why your passenger ratings are so bad?
Do Uber drivers give negative reviews (1-star ratings) for short trips? I know they don't like them.
This talks to how some drivers, in protest against the system, give out only 1-star ratings for short trips (or any trips). It's a horrible practice, actually.
I also picked up these links, in case it helps:

How to Perfect your Passenger Rating
Do drivers really rate passengers? What happens when my ratings are low?
No seven seater for Uber.
But if it’s for a night out, meaning multiple trips multiple times, you might as well hire a driver for the night. Outside of the app.
How do you find one? Call an Uber Black once. Then hire the guy (or the girl) that shows up. Should have Livery license in most cities.
you can't do that. If you cancel multiple times in the same location, Uber will automatically (I think) start charging the rider a cancellation fee. Even if the cancellation is made before two minutes.
The math is easy on this. $148M / 57M people. That’s less than $2 for each of us.
I'd like to think discrete delivery is one of the expectations for this company. I mean sure for the drivers but also for people ordering them. I prefer to not have my neighbor find out that I am getting drugs delivered to my house.
...meaning they are not going to make drivers put one of those dominoes dome lights on top of the cars.
One can argue that you'd get receive more tip if you provided better service and vice versa.
Someone's gotta start. I am doing my part by paying it forward.
I thought a noose was what you drivers carried in your glovebox for when Uber cuts the rate to zero.

I am not familiar with these practices, but this talks to how some drivers give bad ratings as a form of protest. They often, out of frustration to Uber, and to no fault of the riders' give 1-star rating to mess with the system.
What about those warm hand towels? Like those that they give you at Japanese restaurants?
Can you imagine how refreshing that would be on a hot day.
"literally knock on the door." Oh, man. I can't ever do that. How awkward would that be.
an in some cases, I bet someone answered and said, "I don't know who that is."
14 hour shifts. It's hard to *stop* for that long, mate.
I don't smoke in the car either, but users pick up on it. It's in my clothes and pasted on my skin.
gross habit, I know.
I was googling UberRush and got here.
Why do so many UberSomething exist but half of them are no longer around. It's hilarious.
Somebody should start the "What is your craziest Uber story" thread.
Is your username in hex or something? I'm afraid to ask what it actually says.
No, that (not being able to drive or dont' own a vehicle) is not the reason. It's the convenience and speed at which you can get groceries.
Why drive to the store if th food can come to you without anyone's involvement?
Obviously, it's nicer for something to show up at your door. The potential issue is the price. They solved it (or attempts to solve it) by taking people cost out of the equation.
It's cute uber drivers pretending to be a lemonade stand shopkeeper. Adorable.
I think this is a serious question.
Brave of you to speak up, mate.
