  Yeah, they do a variation of this, sort of, where if you give a driver 1 or 2 stars, that driver will be blocked.

  I can't see why they can't just make the opposite functionality.  Specifying for those 5-star drivers you've been with before.

  Then again, you could simply just get the # of the driver you liked.

  No, one booked Uber from Google Maps.  Just as no one books hotels on it.  It just doesn't seem trustworthy.  If they did, there wouldn't be an AirBnB.

  Woah. but this gives drivers the incentive to go slow at picking people up.  Maybe take some wrong turns, attempt to have trouble finding the passenger, etc.

  Didn't they see the part about how it swerved to miss a gaggle of ducklings?  It even went through a prioritzation exercise.  30 ducklings = 1 man's life and there were 31 on the road.

   6 years ago in  Can I get somebody to bring me a couple of packs of cigarettes to my address ...

  hells yeah. I'd drive it over but I am 1.5 hour away.  That'll cost you a few hundred bucks for a pack of cigarettes. 

  On a serious note, UberRush which was designed for something like this (well, I guess more for documents and packages) have shut its door here in San Fran.  I guess not enough people wanted it.
