WTF, and then it says the battery exploded in the impound lot five days after the crash. I'm supposed to keep this thing in my garage at night??

I think I'll stick with my gas guzzler, thank you.

well, we don't know the whole story.  Batteries are batteries.  They probably sat out in the got heated to 180degrees and melted and blew up.

The idea of just riding along without my hands on the steering wheel.... In this brand new technology that is really not yet proven... just seems stupid. Just plain dumb. Why would anyone do this.

    "Follow that car"

    "I'm sorry Dave, I can't do that."

"Ok, then just don't kill me then."

Someday you will. It just might take a while to trust them.

Didn't they see the part about how it swerved to miss a gaggle of ducklings?  It even went through a prioritzation exercise.  30 ducklings = 1 man's life and there were 31 on the road.

What the heck is an attenuator?  I looked it up and still don't get it.  Are they saying it was in the barrier and the car reacted to it?  or is that something in the car itself?  I feel dumb.

Hopefully all the non tippers will opt for driverless cars because you will do the drivers a big favor and yourself one for being a shameless smuck.
