Did anyone ever use GM to book an Uber though?

If Uber just screwed over Google, they better watch out...
I am not sure why this feature existed in the first place?
Uber has messed up maps though, maybe they should be friendly with google to get help with that. My ubers are always trying to turn in the middle of my street where there is literally no road, just a walking path.
Yes! The Uber maps situation sucks, and drivers seem hell bent on following it.
So interesting how this wasn't bigger news, just that GM stopped this feature out of nowhere. I am so curious as to what happened.
I am surprised it took them for a while, especially with Waymo's entrance in the market AND Waymo and Uber's legal battles. (which was recently settled, right?)
I only just found out you can book Uber on Google Maps.
No, one booked Uber from Google Maps. Just as no one books hotels on it. It just doesn't seem trustworthy. If they did, there wouldn't be an AirBnB.
You could do this? I had no idea this was ever even a thing.
