Lyft app surges to the top 10 on Apple’s App Store following the #DeleteUber campaign
I guess we all saw this coming. It will be interesting to see how Lyft rides this momentum. https://techcrunch.com/2017/01/30/lyft-surges-to-the-top-10-on-apples-app-store-following-the-deleteuber-campaign/?ncid=rss&utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter -
Lyft Co-Founder Says on That Future Cars Will Be 'Rooms on Wheels'

Has anyone used Curb?
Has anyone tried using Curb? I've only ever used Uber and Lyft, but I hear good things about Curb - …
yes! this idea!
I love how the wings are so clearly photoshopped.
People will sue for anything.
I don't expect my driver to help me - just pop open the trunk and I am happy.
I bet they are seeing a big surge, even big celebrities are bashing on Uber right now.
Nope, I always put it as a few houses down from me, just in case!
I always though this was the opposite - that drivers liked to have their front seat empty for all their belongings.
I always love when there are phone chargers available.
This is crazy!! What are the chances?!
Self Driving!
haha! Could you imagine if Uber did a big reveal of their autonomous car and it looked like this?!
Uber: "and for the first time ever, we are finally unveiling our vehicle of the future"
Audience *crickets*, WTF?!
Ya, it really is, being able to hail and pay for an Uber wherever without having to worry about having cash is the best. I mean even when I take taxis I always pay with a credit card. Uber just needs to allow passengers to tip throw the app, IMO
Remember when Uber poached a bunch of engineers from Carnegie Melon after they claimed they wanted to work together with them?!
So good!
Agreed - makes a lot of sense! I'll probably stick to what I know for now!
I also wonder what the safety policy is for Uber/Rideshare drivers though too. If there is anything in there to the nature of "a driver has the right to refuse service to anyone who they feel threatened by" then arguably this could qualify if a driver did not feel comfortable around guns right?
I feel like there is no way to prevent this without putting up a sign on your door/window or saying something - and in both cases it might come across the wrong way...
Yes! Or the car simply can't get through New York City due to pedestrians never actually waiting for a crosswalk sign...
Wow! Certainly a long way to go to catch Uber but this is great news for the idea of maintaining some "competiton" within this industry.
No way - I can totally see it both ways! Any way this Uber driver can be super talkative and interesting, and then also let me nap for half the trip? Seems like I probably don't have what it takes to make it to paradise!
