Sometimes, I just don't get why I am not getting tipped. What are your reasons for not tipping? Is it really a cash thing?

I used to never tip for Uber Black, because... well, I never thought I was expected to. It's a luxury "stylish" way to travel. Why do the cash transactions? It's like taking traditional limos and black cars to the airports.
I do now more recently, because I now take UberX. Still have mixed feelings though, as it defeats one of the biggest advantages which is the cashless convenience.
We do need to define whether this is Uber or Uber X, I agree. I drive the Uber Black and I don't get or expect tip, to be honest with you. I think it's the difference in clientele.
It's weird how we are defining this tip thing now. Do you think the same discussion happened many years ago in America with waitors and waitresses?
Completely a cash thing! I tip on lyft.
Ya, it really is, being able to hail and pay for an Uber wherever without having to worry about having cash is the best. I mean even when I take taxis I always pay with a credit card. Uber just needs to allow passengers to tip throw the app, IMO
I thought we weren't supposed to tip rideshares. Gah!
