Here we go again... Uber driver sexually assaulted woman at American University
"The report says the victim was ordered out of the vehicle and sexually assaulted." https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/public-safety/uber-driver-sexually-assaulted-woman-at-american-university-police-say/2017/11/20/c47f6882-cdf1-11e7-81bc-c55a220c8cbe_story.html?utm_term=.12a0c5ebe656
It wouldn't be the worst thing Uber has done...
wow, how did you know he was an Uber or Lyft driver? Did you see a sticker? It is always possible it is a family car and it was a relative driving at that moment regardless you should report this directly to Uber or Lyft (whichever one he was working for). They will be able to look him up by the license plate.
😂 YES!!!! All drivers should have these!
I agree with you though don't rideshares also provide "door to door service". Not sure what you are getting at with that statement.
I have such a hard time trusting any mechanic. I always google prices and get multiple quotes. Such a pain.
Does driving faster with Uber result in higher pay? If you are also paid by the minute, wouldnt driving slower be more impactful?
Its going to happen sooner rahter than later, things are getting out of control. I am sure a solution will be put in place in the next year. Hopefully its a good solution...
This is too soft, sorry taxi drivers but this is just the way the world works.
Now, what would be cool is if the panic button sent out a message to all the other Uber drivers nearby! Think how fast help could arrive if the uber driver network was utilized effectively.
This is not goingot change anything. I doubt drivers will actually tell their passengers to put on seatbelts, who wants to be THAT driver!?
Sadly that is the nature of this world, 1 in three women will be sexually assaulted in college. Maybe the lawmakers should be going after college boys...
Strange that they wanted him to come STRAIGHT from amazon - are they trying to steal something?
wow, only making $10 a day and having to pay back $7 for the car... that is bad.
why were they giving out a promo just in Indianapolis anyway? A lot of cities celebrate St. Paddys day...
Must have been some bad BO... Were they pissed?
Uber and Trump would get along great...
If you read the article, it is because male drivers tend to work during more off hours (ie night shift) when surge might be higher. This isn't Uber paying males more...
