  I have heard of this before but I really cannot imagine it is worth it. Have the time you are getting X or XL rides anyways and then you have such a higher car payment and your nice car is getting used HARD by daily pax.

  Not a driver but I read this post a while back and figured I would share in case it is helpful. It is about Uber giving bonuses to drivers of hybrid vehicles. If you do end up switching cars see if you can get Uber to pay you more!

  Nope, if you use a promotion code the money is taken from Uber's (the company) pockets not from the driver. The driver still gets their full share.

  This reminds me of this article I read saying how Uber driving is a salesmans dream. This one guy makes over 250K a year selling his jewelry line while driving for Uber. Replace that we weed and I am sure you would make some good money, though I am sure Uber has rules agaisnt this...

  I jsut read this article and wht I find fascinating is that when Dara was interviewing for the position of Uber CEO, the board looked and judged his Uber rider rating! Apparently they were not please with his 4.73 rating.

   6 years ago in  Research shows people tend to overestimate the physical length of familiar routes, but underestimate how long it takes to travel them.

  Now I am trying to think about all the routes I take - thanks for distracting me for the past 30 minutes.

  Interesting, I wonder if cities will designate certain curb spots solely for rideshares, other curb spots for taxis, etc. Segregation of the transport services.
