"The two women tell CNN that, several minutes after their peck, the driver pulled over onto the side of a Manhattan road, away from their destination, walked over to the rear passenger side door and opened it, telling them to get out."
Apparently Uber does have a policy though that states "you shouldn't touch or flirt with other people in the car," and that there's "no sexual conduct with drivers or fellow riders, no matter what."
So in my opinion the driver was actually justified.

I agree, I think these situations are being blown out of proportion. Whether you are straight or gay, you are not supposed to engage in any sexual activity in an Uber, that includes kissing!
some people pay to see that.
Until you have been discriminated against you won't understand. This is 100% discrimination, he wouldn't have kicked out a straight couple. Come on, people peck in Uber's all the time.
