RIDEGURU
One of the drivers told me UberPool doesn't run at different times of the day. Like they would close for the night and they are primarily for heavy traffic and commuter times. Is this true?
Are there operating hours for UberPool? How come they don't seem to be available at nights and early mornings?

Some services are only available at certain hours, depending on location, demand, availability of drivers, etc.
Uber can turn on and off (open and close) the services depending on your location, demand, Availability of the driver, hours, and whatever else they choose. UberPool is still waiting for a wide-spread adoption, so when and where they are available seem to be closely controlled by Uber.
For example
- Uber seems to be disallowing UberPool in suburbs. (though we are hearing consistently now that they are being offered in many suburbian neighborhoods)
- UberPool are most often available during commuter hours.
- We have also heard that in many markets, UberPool "opens" at 7:00AM.
