Can I take my dog with me as an Uber driver, in the car, if she was enclosed in the back area of my van and not able to see the passengers?
The Guru Take
There are no rules "against" this behavior, but passengers may not be happy.
This question seems to be surprisingly popular recently. I wonder if there is a surge of dog lovers signing up for Uber these days.
There are no specific rules against thie behavior but the passengers may frown upon it, and this may not server you well as they may leave you low ratings. Check out this article that talks to it:
Can I bring along my dog as a driver?
The only rule from Uber is this, but it mentions "friends and family." You decide.
Can I bring someone with me while I'm online? In the interest of safety and comfort for riders, friends and family of driver-partners may not ride in their vehicle during a trip. When online, please do not allow other passengers to ride in your vehicle.

If passengers can have service animals then aesthetically, if done right, a driver should be able to have a service animal on board. Legally there is no question, if that animal is your service animal, God can't wrest it from you. And if a passenger gives you bad vibe or bad ratings because of that, they are suable (if you have to or want to make that big an issue of it.) I would also post a note in the vehicle.

Thank you for understanding.
If anyone wants to get topsy-turvy after you've told them all that. End the ride and put them out and send a message to Uber about the rider violating the service animal laws. Thanks for your upvote.

Dogs are man's best friends. Hence "friends."
