Bringing your guinea pigs
It depends on your driver. Both Uber and Lyft let the decision to allow pets in their cars rest with the drivers. This means that some drivers may decline you while others would be happy to oblige to your pet-friendly ride request. We would recommend contacting your driver before they arrive to make sure bringing your guinea pigs is okay with them. If they say no, just simply request a new Uber.
Also, keep in mind that it is not commonly accepted to bring pets into an UberPool or LyftLine carpool ride. If you are looking to bring a pet, you should request your own vehicle like an UberX.
