Does anyone know how to get rid of the annoying Visa ad in the Uber app

This is super annoying, and I can't swipe it away or anything. Even tried clicking Apply Now, naively thinking maybe they would stop bugging me then, but no, it's still there.

Why does Uber do this annoying thing? Do they think I care about their stupid credit card? "Earn $100 after spending $500", is that supposed to entice me? Don't they know I take Uber Black 99% of the time? I am not an Uber X plebe, $100 does not attract me. They should be offering me their centurion card. Yeah!

I thought Uber was trying to improve their image, so why are they sullying their app with this lame ad?

I've tried to reach out uber support about that annoying issue but I don't know how. This is ridiculous.

I never figured it out. Now I see a ton of Uber eats ads at the bottom that can't be swiped away. Really annoying.

Yes!  Let me close down this ad.  i cant see the screen view to see where your drivers are!  I used Lyft twice just because i couldn’t optimize the view.  Maybe the money from the credit card is paying for your “image” commercials....just a thought.  But I hate it.  Takes up 1/3 of the screen on my PAID FOR iphone 6.

Exactly! The ad isn't just annoying, it is hindering the usability of application.

Completely agree with this. I just went out looking to find out how to get rid of this Visa ad thing because it takes up way too much real estate. They are literally costing themselves money and it’s unbelievably stupid. To Lyft I go.

I don't know if they heard us or not, but this ad is still there but much smaller.

It resminds me of the Refer Your Friend popups that we always used to get.   Then there was the Amex ones.  Save 5% or whatever.  Then I saw UberEats for a little while.   I also remember pages plastered with "Become a driver and make $1500."

Oh, I just checked and I see Jimmy John's 10% for using VISA.  I don't even know if there is a Jimmy John's around here.  Come on, Uber.
