Uber app incessantly pushes this credit card to me. and it's been going on as far back as I can remember. I am giving in. Maybe I will get it.
I take so many Ubers and I don't mind using UberEats. I have my Amazon card for Amazon. Maybe I should get an Uber one for Uber
No annual fee. Strong cashback on dining and travel related expenses. Phone protection is a plus.
Uber's Visa credit card has good cashback benefits that are even or better than most credit cards in the market. They stand out with percentages ranging from 1 to 4%. The criteria are below (as of November 2018); however, they do not seem to strictly align to Uber riders or drivers, except maybe for the 4% cashback on UberEats.
As you can see, its strength is with expense at restaurants and travel-related items. Besides the cashback, they also have additional benefits:
Protect your phone from the unexpected – Up to $600 for mobile phone damage or theft when you pay your mobile phone bill with your card.²
Stream all day with a $50 subscription credit – Up to a $50 credit for online subscription services after you spend $5,000 or more on your card per year.²
Exclusive access to exclusive events – Receive invites to exclusive events and offers in select U.S. cities.³
No foreign transaction fees no matter what –Use your card outside the U.S. with no hidden fees.¹

My son's friend has one he said it was good but didnt get into detail. Would love to hear from drivers that have it and like it or think it sucks:) Uber tends to do nothing without a catch. They also tend to make it sound good but its not much for helping drivers. Sorry I read your your question wrong and I cannot delete my post. I thought you were talking about driver debit card so sorry. I cant help you on your question but maybe I can check with my riders.
Wait, really? That is actually not a bad card at all. How can Uber out of all these companies offer such good benefits?
4% on restaurants is better than what I have with my Amazon Prime card at 3%.
and Phone protection? I currently pay $9 through Verizon.
It's probably because Uber isn't serious about making money off of this credit card. I am sure they were able to negotiate or keep their benefits minimum so they can afford to give away these benefits. They aren't a credit card company, that's why.
