Has anyone on here ever signed in to drive for Uber and then taken a friend or family member along for a pickup? This past weekend when my Uber driver arrived she had her husband in the front seat! I thought this wasn't allowed and it was super creepy.

This is definitely not allowed though I have heard of drivers doing this, personally if this happened to me I would be skteched out and wouldn't get in the car.
This used to happen a lot back in the earthy-crunchy days when Lyft and Uber were new. The drivers loved the ultimate freedom, and many of them had girlfriends, wives, husbands, best friends, and kids in the car. Now Uber and Lyft have rules against that type of thing, and many drivers get deactivated for such moves.

yes, I actually did, it was stupid. Turns out they were in my area for a sons wrestling match and decided to do some Uber while waiting but for the majority of the ride I was convinced I was being kidnapped.
