This depends on how far away from work you live and how long the wait time is for your rideshare driver. Usually you should give an extra ten minutes from when you would need to leave to request your car. I would recommend checking on the app (Uber, Lyft, etc). about a half hour before you need to leave to see how far away the drivers are. If there are no drivers nearby, I would request your car early but if the app says it should only take 3 minutes for a driver to get to you then you can wait!
