UberPool allows maximum of 3 pickups for each ride. This means that if you get on an UberPool as the first passenger, you could experience two stops before reaching your destination.
You should remember that each UberPool rider can also bring a friend, an additional passenger. This means that each pickup can have two people. Obviously, UberPool will not have any additional pickups (i.e. a third pickup) if the vehicle has reached its capacity.
