The Guru Take
Taxi Vans - Possiblity?
You may want to consider using a taxi van. In most cities, if you go to the airport taxi stand, you can request one for free. In regulated cities, the vans have the same rates as its sedan counterparts. Take a look at this article.

Additional Tip
That's a big group. While UberXL and SUV can carry 6 passengers, if you have a lot of luggage, the car can become tight.
If such is the case, you may want to look into UberSUV (luxury SUV) rather than UberXL. While the cost is more, UberSUV often offers larger SUVs such as Escalade and Suburban, that can theoretically fit more than 6 passengers. FYI.
An alternative is to call and reserve an airport van service. They have larger vehicles that can easiy carry 8~10 passengers and they have more room for luggage.
Uber XL or Lyft Plus
You can search for your ride estimate here. I searched your route for you and it looks like for your party of 6, Lyft Plus or Uber XL would be your cheapest option at around $87 (with no surge), this will likely go up if you are traveling during a peak travel time. A Lyft Plus and Uber XL both can carry 6 passengers and will have trunk room for luggage.
This article might also be helpful. It outlines all the different rideshare (Uber, Lyft, etc) services by car type, passenger capacity, and luggage capacity!
