PA driver. On the way back from a trip both apps were off as PA drivers cannot pick up passengers in NY. Accident wasn't serious although feeling achey & sore. Sure it will pass not a bad accident. Not worried about that right now. Rumor has it that Lyft and Uber sometimes deactivate driver when they find out they were in an accident. Not on their apps and didnt have a rider. I know when they do my yearly background and driver history they may see it. Is there any other way they can find out before then? Would the Insurance Company tell them for any reason? Would like to continue to drive for a few more months until health is better and can go back to regular job.
Car accident recently. Will my Insurance notify Uber or Lyft for any reason?

Sorry to hear that, hope you're fine. If you don't have rideshare separate insurance, your insurance company may not cover the accident. Uber and Lyft have certain thresholds for deactivating drivers for what's in their DMV report which is part of the background check.
