Is there a surcharge for travel on a holiday (Thanksgiving)?

However, as Holidays tend to be busy travel times, Uber and Lyft might have their Surge Pricing and Prime Time rates turned on. This means that you may end up paying more for your ride not becuase of the Holiday but becuase of the sheer number of people trying to use rideshare services at the same time.
